A Visual Feast

Posted on May 16 2016

This is the time for renewal. As the season progresses we are finding inspiration in the simple things. The organic results of a handcrafted process and the perfection of nature, or even just a beautifully decorated table…

We love the freshness of citrus, both visually and in the food we cook. We are collecting recipes we want to try, like this pan-seared lemon sole and warm lemon pudding cake.

The fascinating earthenware from K.H. Wurtz has shaped our look of late, while the minimalist linens from Axlings and the rustic saddle leather pieces from Sol Y Luna ground the look. The philosophy of artisan design and craftsmanship remains a most essential element and has led us to new discoveries like the incredible Shibui.

We’ve turned the focus on our own backyard. Losing ourselves in the garden, and turning to the work of landscape architects for inspiration. Nature is one of our constants both inside and out. Bringing the beauty of florals to our table, or bringing the loveliness of our wares to dine alfresco.
