The Last Days of Summer
Posted on August 31 2015
As we soak up the last days of summer and move into autumn, we are looking for transitional items that evoke nature. Bringing a sense of the outdoors in, with organic elements.
We discovered our latest inspiration in architect Cary Tamarkin’s Shelter Island home. An elegant, modern beach house, designed with the essentials in mind and utilizing the beautiful warmth of wood, from floor to ceiling.
Our artisan favorites, who regularly work with the finest, raw materials to create stunning home accessories, channeling the textures, patterns and presence of Mother Nature’s most stunning creations.
Gilles Caffier decorative ceramic vessels, The Wooden Palate’s luxurious wooden cutting boards, and Victoria Morris’ hand-thrown pottery are our current essentials. Artisan made at MONC XIII.
