A Different Kind of Life

Occasionally we come across a home, and a story, that inspires us to want to live differently. Molly and Eric Glasgow created a dream home with the Grey Barn and Farm, their minimalist, rustic and incredibly chic organic farm on Martha’s Vineyard.

When we saw the images in Architectural Digest, we had to pin every single one. After buying an inactive farm and dairy, the couple set about reviving it, while still maintaining the integrity of the past. Architect Mark Hutker helped them build using reclaimed materials and channeling the charm of a modern Belgian farmhouse.

Now a functional organic farm and dairy (check out their Instagram feed at @thegreybarnchilmark for daily updates on farm life) we are living vicariously through these images. If we can’t have a farm, then at least we want the chicken coops…
