Philip Arctander
Philip Arctander was a graduate of the Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in Copenhagen, working as an independent architect from 1939 to 1947. He was Head of Research from 1947 and Director of the Danish Building Research Institute (SBI) from 1968 to 1981. He also served as an advisor to the UN in the field of construction and housing. In 1975, he was awarded the Eckersberg Medal.
