Stunning set of four 1960's "T-Chairs" Designed by William Katavolos, Ross Littell and Douglas Kelly in original cognac leather. The frame of the chairs was made in stainless steel.
William Katavolos, Ross Littel and Douglas Kelly met while attending Pratt Institute and the three formed a partnership in 1949. During their six year partnership Katavolos, Littel and Kelly designed furniture, textiles and dinnerware for Laverne Originals in New York. In 1952, the T chair won the A.I.D. award as the best furniture design in America. One chair resides in the permanent collections at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and several other top-ranked museums.
