Puiforcat Cannes sterling silver cutlery is a classic design created by Jean E. Puiforcat for his own marriage in 1928. This striking lines is sturdy, each piece being made from one piece of metal and adorned with five simple rings at the top of the handle. Common to most of his line, the fork features three-prongs, the spoon is the same oval shape as a bowl and the knife's handle is the same width as the blade. The Cannes line also has a high percentage, 930/1000, of sterling silver and the dinner fork contains 100 grams of silver.
Characterized by pure, architectural lines, notable simplicity and the marriage of solid silver with other precious materials such as exotic woods, semi-precious stones and shagreen, Puiforcat offers an exceptional line of flatware and home decor. These beautiful heritage pieces are crafted with exceptional know-how and attention to detail that only 200 years of silversmithing can attain. With designs spanning from traditional French to contemporary, the house of Puiforcat honors its long heritage of design by offering a wide range of styles and collections for all settings.
