Marco Zanuso was an Italian architect and designer known for his groundbreaking contributions to mid-century modern furniture. His work, including the Lady Chair and the 720 Lady Sofa, introduced new manufacturing techniques using foam and metal frames. Zanuso’s designs, often created in collaboration with Arflex, combined comfort with avant-garde aesthetics. His visionary approach helped shape the future of industrial design and remains a key influence in contemporary furniture making.
