Medium STCKD container in roman travertine with lid designed by Dan Yeffet for Collection Particuliere will create a statement in any kitchen. As Objets de nécessité (necessary objects), this medium STCKD container keeps function at the forefront, while managing to elevate everyday pieces.
“Definitions are our limits; I would like to consider myself as an explorer and adventurer. The amazing thing about design is that everything is possible - dreams can be translated, abstracted and carried out; raw material gets personality, movement and a new life" - Dan Yeffet
Dan Yeffet was born in 1971 in Jerusalem, Israel, Dan studied Industrial Design at Bezalel Academy: School of Art and Design in Jerusalem moving to the Netherlands where he graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam in 2002 earning a BA in industrial/product design. After his graduation he set up his studio in Amsterdam. In 2005 he moved his studio to Paris where he still works. His work can be described as innovative, simple and yet with a strong identity.
Collection Particuliere was created in 2014 by Jérôme Aumont, presenting meaningful furniture and objects with bold, clean shapes. The primary materials are wood, marble, leather, brass and ceramic—chosen for their character and ability to age with grace. Collection Particulière aims to be an immersion into “daily life objects, where every single piece of furniture and every object is considered to be a sculpture, a piece with a true statement. A piece that does not immediately show its true nature.”
Aumont has partnered with some of the leading names in European design. Among the talented collaborators are Christophe Delcourt, Grégoire de Lafforest, Dan Yeffet, Arno Declercq and Dessuant Bone.
