Peter Hvidt
Danish designer Peter Hvidt was trained as an architect and as cabinetmaker at the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen. Hvidt worked at various design firms before setting up his own studio. In 1944 he opened Hvidt & Molgaard studio which he ran with Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen until 1975. They produced furniture that was primarily traditional but often manipulated the standards of furniture design in a subtle way.
